Innoprise Corporation Sdn Bhd. [ICSB] was established in 1988 as the investment arm and the holding and management company of Yayasan Sabah or Sabah Foundation.

ICSB is acutely aware of both its social obligations and also environmental responsibilities to future generations. The conservation and wise use of tropical rainforests has become one of the great issues of our time. ICSB therefore strives to manage its forest lands in an integrated and sustainable manner, for their greatest long term net benefits to the people of Sabah. Thus, ICSB combines harvesting with major programmes of natural forest such as silviculture, replanting, research, conservation education and eco-tourism.

With timber products as one of its core business, ICSB has designated its wholly owned subsidiary, Innoprise Wood Products Sdn Bhd (IWPSB) to spearhead its diversification activities into further downstream in the furniture manufacturing sector. IWPSB was incorporated in 1990 and started manufacturing outdoor furniture at the end of 1992 in response to the government’s call for the development and diversification of the downstream activities.

IWPSB is one of the largest exporter of outdoor furniture in Sabah. To date the Company’s products are sold in the United Kingdom, Europe and Japan.

With the huge resource backup from its parent company, IWPSB is poised for further expansion by increasing her capacity in the near future towards meeting market demand and consumers’ requirements.
